Happy 4/20!
Serious: I'm not going to be preachy, I promise. I just wanted to remind you that it doesn't matter if you smoke marijuana or not: if you're not for the legalization of marijuana you should re-think your position. Learn some facts, be aware...you know, that kind of stuff. (If nothing else, it will lower taxes and help the economy!)
Personal: I never thought I would be passing to the left. It never appealed to me and until I was 18 (and not doing well) I thought that all of the stereotypical things about marijuana were true. But it pretty much came around and saved my life and definitely my sanity. If you know me, you know that story. If not, you'll just have to take my word for it. I owe a lot to marijuana and I am not ashamed of that. It has a time and a place in my life like so many other things. This really describes it best for me: "Cannabis brings us an awareness that we spend a lifetime being trained to overlook and forget and put out of our minds." (Carl Sagan)
